Being Six Months Pregnant

( Porter took this picture of me today, I think he's getting a little better. At least his finger isn't in the shot.)

Well, as much as I hate looking like a big huge muffin man. Something I regret from being Preggy with Porter was that I don't have a ton of pics and my memories aren't written down. So I'm going to try to track what it is like for myself...so next time I want to get pregnant I will say "but remember...."

Pros: Feeling baby move around and knowing that I'm the one and only thing he is relying on to grow and live. Another pro is: if you're a first time mom, your husband might carry the groceries in, or rub your feet, and listen to your woes--more. But when it's your second, you're pretty much on your own babe. Comfortable with being pregnant 4/7 days a week. Porter loves the baby. He kisses my belly all of the time and says "I love you baby!" He says the baby can sleep with him in his bed when he comes out.

Cons: Getting dressed. Every other week i'm changing a pant size. Sitting and laying it's hard to breath and be comfortable. back hurts, ribs hurt, walking up the stairs will take your breath away. Gotta Go, Gotta Go, Gotta go go go and then once in the middle of the night. Can't move comfortably. Every time I bend over to pick something up, it's a real chore. I scan the room for other things that I can get while I'm down there. Lately I have been thinking : "I can't believe I have NO CHOICE but to be pregnant for 3 more months! I can't do it." But the day after I have a hard day is usually a good one.

Why I shouldn't complain: I WANTED to get pregnant for a whole year, dreaming of how special it is when your baby grows in your tummy. One of my best friends can't even do that because her "belly is broken". At the end, Porter will have a brother, and a friend. They will be able to make eachother more complete as well as Mike and I. Siblings and Children are something that influence your life more than anything in this world. I have to remember that 9 months of discomfort is TOTALLY WORTH IT.

Darcee's Birthday Lunch

Darcee is the founder of our stake aerobics class. She had a birthday today and a bunch of us got to go to the Pizza Factory for lunch. Darcee is at the VERY end on the right and I don't even think she is looking at the camera. She's an awesome girl, I'd describe her as FREAKIN' TOUGH! It's always fun to get together with these girls.
Stephanie, Ashlee, and Melissa. Steph is due a week and a half after me and Melissa is due 5 weeks Before me. It's fun to compare our pregnancies all the time :)

12 Weeks Left!

Do you see the attitude? That's what Mer and Manda are always complaining about :) Hey at least I'm not wearing the same shirt as yesterday...Or my BIG PINK SWIMWEAR. :)

You're Up and You're Down

Well, These two ladies have been a hoot to live with the last 9 months. They've had a great time making fun of all of us. The other day Mer came into the living room with a little tune dedicated to me. Due to my pregnancy I've been a little moody. I can never remember the name of the song. I keep calling it the "up and down song" or the "left and right" song. It's really

KATY PERRY "Hot'n'cold"

ahh, i'm gonna miss these girls!

Last Sunday Din

Well, Jesse and Mish are moving back to vernal. And Trish and KB are moving to a new house around Foothill. Everyone is growing up so fast. Mish and I are due the exact same day and now we won't be sharing a hospital room. We will miss our friends! Love you guys!
But on the up side, Mish and Trish were so awesome and got me a rocking chair for the baby! I have already been hanging out in it cause it's dang comfy.
Here are our husbands long boarding behind this sweet new ride that Jesse scored. You can imagine that it was pretty entertaining.
