a little fun of our own

Rain. Rain.
It has been raining and storming SO much here this week. We have been dying to play outside. And even though I knew there would be grass and water and mud and laundry all up in my grill I allowed the boys a little rain time. They quite enjoyed it.

I have been paying porter to do a few chores around the house so he can earn a new batman. Luckily Andrew isn't yet aware of the Benjamins cause he works for free.
When i found this out about Andrew I cut my workload in half and I realized hey, why stick a hanger in my mouth when I can have someone else do it.
Meet me in st. louy louy. While husbands were studying me a few of our friends tripped it up to St. Louis hoping for fun in the sun. We hardly saw eachother OR the sun. It rained the whole time canceling our trip to the zoo. And we were all so busy with the kids that there wasn't really any down time. EVEN SO. I am so glad we went. It made the week go so much faster and we still had a great time swimming indoors and hitting up Bonkers (a giant play place that actually gets cleaned) AND Porter enjoyed his very first experience with the pull out couch. When I unveiled the bed in the couch Porter said: "mom how do you know all this stuff?" I love it when someone thinks I'm a genius.

And what would a vacation be without a meltdown.

1st year CHECK!

Isn't he an angel??

Congrats to my babe for finishing his first exhausting year of med school! First order of business NAP TIME!

The past three weeks have been one big blur of studying. We are glad to have our dad back! You've worked super hard babe and I am SOOOOOOO proud of you! xoxox

80s Party

What the 80's looked like

leg muscles in the 80's

I turned 28 and had like three million celebrations. It started with a girls night. I also brought in my birthday at midnight with friends at my sweet friend Des' baby shower. then a date night to the school's V. Monologue and a DQ blizzard. Mike threw me an 80's party and I only WISH I had more pictures...I blame the two broken SD cards.

Signs of Summer

A vacation.
We went to Kansas to see Boo and Mojeh and my cute little 13 month old niece, Melanie. Of course I did not have my camera when I was with them. We went to this awesome park that I used to go to when I was little "antioch park". It has it all and we had a great time walking around, climbing and playing. And Boo kept kissing Mojeh to bug me...but hey, what's hanging out with Boo unless you get bugged, right? We stayed at Bumpy's new apartment and hung out with Leia while Justin and Bumps went to work. We had dinner at Dad and Mishal's. It was so great to see everyone. Only one more year of being able to take short trips to see the family. Unfortunately Mikie is swamped with studying and tests so he had to stay here. Poor guy.
