On the trail Mike was running around. He went back and forth TWICE to tell us the update or bring me some food. One guy asked if he was part mountain goat. And he got lots of comments like he was insane for just hopping around the mountain when everyone else was looking like me and Dad.... (picture to come)

Longs Peak-Rocky Mountain National Park
My brother, Boo and my cousin, Danny. Yeah, they got beat by these three....
after mike went up he came back down to where we were and we took a pic the the highest point that Dad and I got to which is called "the top of the trough", beginning of "the Narrows".
My dad and brother Boo have been
planning to hike to the top of Long's Peak, (the highest peak in the Rocky Mountain National Forrest, the 15th highest in Colorado)....Now that Boo is home from his mission....we are on the trip, Five of us of the 15 dared to go...it was a 15 mile round trip hike...that took us 13.5 hours. Waking up at 1am, leaving on the trail by 3am....Mike was the ONLY ONE to make it to the top. My dad and I had one hour left to go when clouds started brewing and we had to turn around so we didn't get struck my lightening. Disappointing. But I know I could've made it to the top too...so that's good enough for me.
It was freakin' AWESOME! Pictures just aren't enough you have to get on top to appreciate it...

Me and Port like to eat cheese on the way to Vernal
Peru
Isn't he cute? Ahhh...the whoas of a traveler. Mike got to go to Peru with a group from school. He pulled some teeth and took some names. He also saw a World Wonder...Machu Pichu. It's the ruins of an ancient city, it still has running water! It looked like a lot of fun. (don't worry, staying at home in our un-air-conditioned house, chasing our Engergizer around was a blast too)
The Adventures of Mike
Mike gets to do lots of cool things for school. They paid him and paid for him to go to Alaska to study fish and hike and relax. Don't worry, he's always got a babysitter at his disposal. But he took this picture and would like Northface to know that he is their new mascot (he can be a little cocky).
