Christmas Day

Always a great day! We were so lucky to have TONS of presents, with TWO seperate Santa Clause Visits--THANK YOU whoever you are! We were pleasantly surprised with lots of fun gifts from anonymous friends and it made our day wonderful! We will never forget these kind things and can't wait to pay it forward! Thank you for your Loving example to us! We love you!

Christmas Week

This Christmas we had a FULL HOUSE. If you've ever been to our house you'll know that it's pretty tiny. It's a wonderful house-- we love it. But to express how tiny...Mike and I have our bedroom in the frontroom/living room. So when Mom, Clayton, my sister Monica and the already five other residents were here to celebrate Christmas....there was no doubt we were cozy. We had a lot of fun. We played a lot of lazer tag, went sledding, FRIENDS-Scene It was the game to win and lots of holiday movies and Steven's Irish Cream and Amarretto Hot Chocolate. Of course there is a classic picture of me in my "eww, everything around me is disgusting" stage...since i was about 7 weeks prego, the couch now has a perma dent in it. Thanks couch! :)

Summer of Fun

Mike made an arrangement of our summer 2008. Can you spot the one picture of Jenn from summer 2003 before i even met mike? On my way to Vegas to party my pants off....not literally. gross.

Mom's Surprise

My mom came from Kentucky for Christmas. Amanda and Meredith knew she was coming but though she was coming the 22nd of December. On December 11th (Amanda's 14th birthday) after just walking through the door from school I told them that Porter wanted them to "find him" in the closet....but mom was really hiding in there. They were very surprised and excited to see mom. They haven't seen her since August 2008 where they left her in the hospital.

Family Pictures

We haven't taken family pictures in a REALLY long time, so I decided to get some done on Tuesday. There were very few good ones due to the fact that Porter didn't have a nap that day.
I can thank the decorative blog for that. We spent many hours at Heidi's house while she taught me the tricks of the trade and Porter was exhausted from playing. As you all can tell my blog is a little more festive than it has been and it's all thanks to Heidi who may just be one of the most creative people I know. She will be paid with a trip to Hawaii around the year 2020. Can't wait!

Trick or Treat

Porter was an "awmy duy" (translation: army guy) for Halloween. He didn't quite fit the role this year.

These are the three of us as pumpkins. Mike's is a dinosaur and then me and Port are just normal ol' pumpkins.
