Potty Trained!

From Monday March 2nd to Monday March 9th Porter was potty trained! I can't believe how well he picked it up. I thought it would never happen! Thank you Spiderman for putting your good name and face on underwear, cause I am pretty sure it would've never happened without you. We looked for a Spiderman cake but Porter picked Ca Chow instead. Ca Pow Ca Chow. Congratulations P Diddy! I love you buddy!

Grandma and Grandpa Cranney's Third Weekend

Thanks goodness Steve and Laurel were Mission Presidents because now they have to come to Salt Lake for all the weddings of their former missionaries. They have been here for three weekends in a row. It's made our weekends a lot more eventful and Liz has been lucky enough to host game night, EVERY NIGHT. Porter loves going to Liz's, he feels right at home and he loves baby Wyatt. Spencer reminded me that they are the two outlaws in the family. Abbie is a little photogenic monkey. She looks so cute in every picture she takes.

Kite Flying

It was nice outside and even a bit windy for a couple of days. Luckily one of the days was during the weekend when Mike could take Porter out for a little kite flying. Don't think that Mike is just being a good dad, he would have gone out whether Porter was there or not. :) Seriously though, Mike is a great dad. Porter had a great time and is lucky to have a fun dad like his. They are even playing hide and seek while I work on my blog.

Porter's Perspective

Porter has gotten ahold of the camera a couple of times. We usually don't know until we find the pics. He might have a talent, though. They are pretty good.

Valentines Day

Valentines weekend happened to be a three day weekend for all the school kids (mike included) and so my dad was able to take a little trip out. For Valentines Day Dad took the girls out for din din at the exquisite Golden Corral. Afterwords, Mike joined us for a couple of games of Laser Tag. We are all really good at the sport, but NOONE is ever able to beat Mike! Mike was beaten ONCE. It was the first time he had ever played and his pregnant sister, Liz, kicked his butt. He hasn't been beaten since. But on Feb 14, 2009 after one warm up game, Amanda did it! She got first place! The framed evidence is hanging on her wall in her room, just in case anyone needs proof. It was a really fun night. Not to mention the surprise 2 dozen roses dad had sent that day! They graced our home for many weeks-we miss them.

Mommy Day Valentine's Party

We decorated bags for valentines, dancing around to Hannah Montana-Porter likes to pick his nose while he dances (this will come in handy when he is a teenager), and we decorated sugar cookies.

My friend Heidi is AWESOME at holidays so we started celebrating pretty much every single one of them by having parties for the kids (And it's fun for the moms too! :). Today we had a Valentine Party and since I'm trying to stay on top of my blog, I'm posting every little thing we do. (BEAT THAT, MIKE!)
