Jackson Farm

Our friends Lorna and Marie invited us to the Corn Maze for Country farm. It gave us something fun to do while Mike studied.

Last Fall Soccer Game

Porter improved his game TONS this season.

Dad's Bday and Bumpy's Baby

Mishal surprised dad with a weekend getaway to KIRKSVILLE! that's right...folks, Kville is the place to be! :) We had a great time, we went to picklers, coltons, had homemade soup, walking around mike's football game, played Ticket to Ride, guess who won...JENN. DON'T FORGET IT DAD! this is my blog and I am documenting this for future reign purposes. It was a really fun weekend and so good to see Dad and McShelly.

Bumpy had Baby Jackson so we went to visit Justin, Bumpy, Baby Leia and Baby Jackson.
Andrew slept most of the way there but once we got to Kansas City he woke up and threw the blanket over his head and kept sleeping. I was crakin' up.
We made a Walmart trip. Who doesn't? Andrew loved being the big kid in town. He and Leia had such a fun time together.
Where's a Picture of baby Jackson & Co, you ask? my camera ran out of batteries (as usual). But here is a pic of my baby boy. We are trying breathing treatments on him cause of his 8 month old cough. 3-4 times a day...(yeah right.) we do what we can, he growls like a monster whenever he gets to sport this rad dino mask. he's not forgetting his Dino Land roots.

Our Next Move Summer 2012

We found out where we're moving for Rotations today. Many of you know that's been on our minds a lot lately. Probably over kill. :)

Wyandotte, Michigan. Henry Ford Hospital. I had to google image the place cause I haven't been there and wanted to see what we are in for.

Looks like fun eh?

Fun Facts:

- Wyandotte is 14.63 miles from Detroit.
-Mike will do at least one rotation on 8 mile in a gated, guarded hospital.
-While mike was on tour in Michigan discussing the safety of the commute to this hospital he was told "you don't wanna stop at the stop lights or anything, but you'll be fine!"
-Detroit was named FORBES #1 most dangerous city in America in 2010

Now this is all in good humor. We are perfectly safe. I have heard lots and lots of great things about Michigan and it sounds beautiful and safe and there are lots of fun things to do.

Mike starts July 1st, 2012.

feelin lucky

Haven't reported in a while. After more than TWO MONTHS of being home from summer break, i finally feel like we are getting back into the swing of things. I am feeling so blessed to have these two little boogers in my life! (This photo is missing the other booger in my life). I couldn't be happier!

we're baaaack!

Mike started his classes a couple of weeks ago and we're finally getting back into the swing of things. And for my first blog back I wanna make it look like all we do is have fun...that's what blogs are for right? We have been auctioning, adding fun things to the house, and enjoying being with our K-ville friends again.

Mike built a cabinet out of these pallets..i'll blog that later. p.s. it was about 110 (heat index) that day.
We went hunting for fireflies..

Porter's been learning to swim this year, and since we've gone to the pool every day since we've been back, he's doing MUCH better than at the beginning of the season. He's also pretty excited about these black goggles.
Andrew just makes me run around the pool-but we have a lot of fun and he's getting pretty confident himself.
That's what we've been up to the last couple of weeks...stay tuned for stories from our summer...
