Welp, SIX DAYS LATE, Kari Havens Hancock gave birth to her first little babe, Boston Hancock, yesterday--July 18th, 09. She is seen here in the wedding dress. I am just so excited that he finally came out that I wanted to pay her a little tribute.Kari is one of my roommates from College (utah state university). We have been through a lot together. This little group shown in the pic are some of my best friends! There is NOTHING like my college roommates, they are great friends, like sisters, and I miss seeing them and laughing with them and even fighting with them! :) just kidding--we never fought! :)
Kari married Kade, who Mike grew up with. So Jenn, from Kansas and Kari from Virginia, --who became friends in Utah married boys from Vernal. Pretty crazy, huh?
Anyway, I have been talking to Kari every day for the last little while waiting for her special day and it finally came! She is the fourth of us to join the wonderful world of motherhood. Congrats Kari!
Porter's Opinion:
I showed Porter the pics of Boston, yesterday, and he thought he was so cute. He said "mom, can we have two Bostons?" meaning, can we name our baby Boston? and I told him that would be fun, huh?
Today I said, "Port, should we just name our baby Andrew?" and he said "uhmm...no, what's Kari's baby's name?" I said "Boston." He said "yeah, I know what you're talking about, Boston, can there be two Bostons?"
Kari, I guess Porter approves of your name. You should be flattered since his other favs are: Butch, Peter Parker and the Hulk. :)

Jenny Penny - I just barely logged onto the blogger to read your post - I LOVE YOU! I miss you so much. I wish we could play together everyday with the two Bostons and Porter ;) I hope things are going well for you - I will try and call this afternoon!! Hope you're not melting too bad :) LOVE YOU!!
